14 2025-05-14 MOTION by Plaintiff Tane Hannah Meets for leave to file excess pages
19 2025-05-15 MINUTE entry before the Honorable John J. Tharp, Jr:The plaintiff's motion for leave to file under seal 13 is granted. Schedule A to the complaint 2 and exhibit 2 to the declaration of Tane Hannah Meets 17, provisionally under seal pending order, are permitted to remain under seal. The plaintiff's motion for leave to file excess pages 14 is granted. The plaintiff's motion for entry of a TRO 15 is taken under advisement. By 5/21/25, the plaintiff is required to supplement her TRO motion with an index that (1) matches each defendant to the screenshots supplied in support of the motion, (2) lists the dates those screenshots were taken, and (3) identifies, on a defendant-by-defendant basis, the copyright or copyrights each defendant has allegedly infringed. On review of exhibit 2 to the declaration of Tane Hannah Meets, the screenshots do not appear to show a single trademark allegedly infringed by each defendant listed in Schedule A. This raises a question as to the propriety of joinder. Also by 5/21/25, then, the plaintiff is directed to supplement her TRO motion with a brief explaining why joinder is proper notwithstanding the lack of a single copyright common to all defendants. (In other words, the brief should explain why joinder of claims of infringement of different copyrights is appropriate in this case.) If the brief contains new screenshots, those screenshots must be included in the index (and the defendant must certify that the screenshots were not used in any prior proceeding). Alternatively, the plaintiff may amend her complaint to include only those defendants alleged to have infringed the same copyright and file a renewed motion for entry of a TRO. Should the plaintiff elect this option, her renewed motion must include an index, but it need not include a brief regarding joinder. Mailed notice

26 2025-05-22 MINUTE entry before the Honorable John J. Tharp, Jr:The plaintiff's renewed motion for leave to file under seal 20 is granted. The amended Schedule A to the complaint 21 and the amended exhibit 2 to the declaration of Tane Hannah Meets 24, provisionally under seal pending order, are permitted to remain under seal. On the grounds set forth in the motion, the plaintiff's renewed motion for entry of a TRO 22 is granted. The plaintiff's original motion for a TRO 15 is denied as moot. Enter temporary restraining order. Mailed notice

Any objection or response is due before 6/5/25. On review of the memorandum in support of the preliminary injunction motion [31], the Court observes that the plaintiff filed a memorandum for a different case (one concerning Roblox). Once the plaintiff has done so (and no later than 6/3/25), she is directed to publish the preliminary injunction motion to her website with prominent text advising defendants that (1) a motion for entry of a preliminary injunction has been filed, and (2) any responses or objections to that motion must be filed before 6/5/25.
